- ➤ Lake Compounce in Bristol launched its final Holiday Lights festival on Nov. 28 and it will run through Dec. 28—featuring a 100-foot Christmas tree, holiday treats, rides, and a visit with Santa. The park said it will retire the event after 2025 to focus on its core experience. Connecticut Post
