- ➤ CT State Community College Capital’s Galería de Arte Mallett is hosting Biology with a (Spanish) Accent, an interactive exhibition featuring 31 photomicrographic prints that blend art and science with QR codes linking to short educational videos. - ➤ The Hartford venue formerly known as Xfinity Theatre has rebranded as The Meadows Music Theatre to revive its original name. MGK + Riley Green will perform on June 6 and Aug. 14, 2026, with more events planned for the upcoming season. WFSB-TV

- ➤ University of Hartford's Hursey Center received the American Architecture Award on Dec. 10 for its dynamic design (featuring energy-efficient systems and community gathering spaces) that boosts campus programs. - ➤ Connecticut's two public pension systems showed gains, with the State Employees system growing over $2.3 billion and the Teachers system adding more than $1.6 billion, cutting unfunded liabilities from $19.2 billion to $17.6 billion, officials said.
