- ➤ Gov. Ned Lamont said Monday he is consulting with insurers and pharmacies to maintain free COVID vaccine access—using ideas from New York and Massachusetts and checking legal options to keep vaccines nearby for everyone. CT Mirror
- ➤ State lawmakers are asking the federal Environmental Protection Agency to help fix raw sewage in the Connecticut River after video showed waste near Suffield. They sent a letter noting overflows from cities like Springfield, Holyoke—where one day 7 million gallons spilled—and Chicopee send millions of gallons into the river, and they are still waiting for the EPA to respond. - ➤ Sen. Richard Blumenthal warned that the WNBA’s steps to block proposals keeping the Connecticut Sun local might break federal antitrust laws—he said this interference could hurt state negotiations with the Mohegan Tribe, which is considering offers to sell the team while state officials push a higher-valued deal.
