- ➤ A firefighter suffered a minor injury while battling a tractor-trailer fire on I-91 South near Exit 23 in Rocky Hill on Monday night around 9:34 p.m.—the highway was shut down as crews worked to control the blaze. WTNH News 8
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A New Britain man turned himself in Tuesday for a fatal hit-and-run that occurred last October on the 600 block of Albany Avenue when his vehicle hit a bicyclist, leaving 27-year-old Roosevelt Vann Jr dead at Saint Francis Hospital—police said he faces charges for misconduct with a motor vehicle, reckless driving, evading responsibility with death, and other violations. - ➤ Mary Notarangelo, a 73-year-old former detective reported missing in July, was found in February under piles of trash in her Glastonbury home—phone records show her final texts mentioned illness without asking for help. CT Insider
