- ➤ A child from Georgia who had been missing for over a year was found at a relative's home in East Hartford on Tuesday — the child was reunited with its biological father after authorities arrested the mother on an interstate custody warrant. WTNH News 8
- ➤ COMPASS Youth Collaborative in Hartford now uses an app called Navi that gives live updates on at-risk youth so peacebuilders can act safely and lower gun violence rates—data shows that many young participants have reduced their involvement in violence. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ State auditors released a report showing that DCF recorded over 600 children missing in 3,736 episodes from fiscal years 2021 to 2023 and that most cases involved teenagers.
