- ➤ The Hartford Foundation awarded over $780,000 to 30 local groups to deliver free+low-cost summer programs for children, teens and people with disabilities, with more than 6,600 participants expected to join. - ➤ A 10-year-old artist from Ansonia had her artwork shown at the United Nations in New York on Wednesday—she joined a United Nations Women’s Guild program to raise money for children in need. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Connecticut faces a housing shortage with 92,000 affordable units missing and lawmakers working this week on a proposal to ease zoning-obstacles for more housing.
