ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • On Saturday at 10:00 p.m., Hartford firefighters responded to heavy smoke seen from a twenty story high-rise when a burnt HVAC air box at Aroma Cafe caused the smoke; no injuries were reported and technicians restored the alarm system—officials continue to investigate the incident.  WTNH News 8

  • Thousands of UConn women’s basketball fans celebrated the team’s historic 12th national championship in a victory parade in Hartford on Sunday after the Huskies beat South Carolina 82 to 59 last week. Frank Recchia from News 12 reported live along the parade route.  News 12 Connecticut
  • Paige Bueckers helped UConn win a national championship and is expected to be taken No. 1 overall by the Dallas Wings tonight — she will then travel to Texas for training camp starting April 27.  FOX61
