On Saturday at 10:00 p.m., Hartford firefighters responded to heavy smoke seen from a twenty story high-rise when a burnt HVAC air box at Aroma Cafe caused the smoke; no injuries were reported and technicians restored the alarm system—officials continue to investigate the incident.

Thousands of UConn women’s basketball fans celebrated the team’s historic 12th national championship in a victory parade in Hartford on Sunday after the Huskies beat South Carolina 82 to 59 last week.
