- ➤ A coalition of parent and educator groups is urging lawmakers today to consider a state ban on cell phone use during school hours to boost student mental health and classroom focus. - ➤ Bus riders in Hartford voiced concerns over unplowed bus stops more than a week after a heavy snowstorm (over a foot of snow left many stops icy), saying waiting in the streets poses safety risks. City officials say they will work soon to clear all 1,200 stops. FOX61

- ➤ Clark Grady, a junior at Lewis Mills from Harwinton, battles cystic fibrosis with daily treatment and fundraising that has raised over $1 million for the National Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
