Cheshire High School Drama is proud to present Badger , a full-length play by Don Zolidis. Set in 1944, during the final years of World War II, Badger tells the story of five young women who take jobs at the Badger Ordnance Works, one of the largest munitions factories in the United States. As they enter a workforce transformed by wartime demands, these women find themselves navigating dangerous working conditions, workplace discrimination, complicated relationships, and the challenges of discovering who they are and what they value. Through unexpected friendships, moments of joy, and heartbreak, they discover strength and solidarity in an uncertain world. Badger offers a compelling look at a pivotal moment in American history and celebrates the courage, resilience, and contributions of women whose stories are often overlooked.
