About this event
Out past Neptune, the Sun is just a bright star, and everything is frozen solid. Start the night under tonight's real sky and find the planets and stars shining over Connecticut. Then fly into Ice Worlds, a dome film that takes you from Earth's North and South Poles out to the frozen places of our Solar System. After the film, we keep going out to the Kuiper Belt, a huge ring of icy leftovers at the edge of the Solar System and home to Pluto and its frozen neighbors. Then we visit the icy moons, like Europa and Enceladus, where oceans may hide under the ice.
This is a show if you are curious about... ice on Earth and in space, Pluto and the Kuiper Belt, and icy moons that might have hidden oceans.
This show is suitable for: ages 6 and up.
