- ➤ South Windsor police arrested 25-year-old Tyreese Rubio-Beaulieu from New Haven on Aug. 14 for a domestic violence case after he sent texts claiming he stole a car—he threatened to shoot and kill his victim. WFSB-TV
- ➤ Hartford police arrested Mauricio Rojas, 43, and Carlos Camaro, 33, at a Park St storefront basement where officers executed a search and seized 163 grams of cocaine and $28,989 as evidence of promoting prostitution, narcotics possession with intent to sell, and illegal alcohol sale—additional charges are pending. - ➤ An audit of the Military Department found two retiring employees were overpaid over $1,000 for unused leave while another was underpaid by $700—errors that result from preparer mistakes and lack of oversight.
