A motorcyclist died after a crash with an SUV along Albany Avenue in Hartford early Sunday morning—officers responded at 3:19 a.m., transporting the injured driver to a nearby hospital while the investigation continues.

A single-family home on Thomas Street suffered significant fire, smoke, and water damage on Sunday afternoon as West Hartford firefighters tamed the blaze at 3:52 p.m.—officials said the home is now uninhabitable and the Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
