- ➤ Michael W. Ervin, convicted in 2002 of murdering his wife at his Norwich home, was released on a $1 million bond after his conviction was overturned due to key evidence being withheld—prosecution has since appealed the decision. Connecticut Post
- ➤ Police arrested Christopher Criss (39) on Friday after he allegedly fled near the Citgo gas station on Corbin Avenue and Governor Street in New Britain, striking two cruisers and a parked car and injuring two officers who were hospitalized. WTNH News 8
- ➤ Jose Morales, who was convicted at state Superior Court in Milford for killing Christine Holloway on Dec. 1, 2019, is set to be sentenced Monday—while Holloway’s family still searches for Vanessa, her missing daughter, to gain closure. Connecticut Post
