CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Jordan McNeill (19 at the time of the crime) was given a sentence of 15 years in jail (with execution suspended after 10 years and a five-year probation) after pleading guilty to robbery and burglary charges linked to an armed home invasion in Middletown in late 2023. WTNH News 8
- ➤ A 21-year-old man was found guilty in East Hartford of fatally shooting 17-year-old Nakhai Grant on Jan 9, 2022 (he will be sentenced on Sept 9). WTNH News 8

- ➤ Connecticut Attorney General William Tong's office reached an $85,000 settlement with TicketNetwork after it failed to meet the state's data privacy law requirements that took effect in 2023—TicketNetwork must now follow the Connecticut Data Privacy Act and provide consumer rights metrics.
