Hartford is hosting two free events this Fourth of July weekend to mark America’s 250th birthday — thousands of visitors are expected to enjoy local festivities.

The Museum of CT History unveiled over 100 Revolutionary War artifacts including a piece of a toppled King George III statue turned into ammunition.
