Mothers United Against Violence (MUAV) held its 21st Remembrance Day at Sigourney Park Sunday evening, helping families honor loved ones lost to gun violence and urging them to become anti-violence advocates.

The event united the community in support and remembrance.

A kitchen fire at a West Hartford apartment building (located along Farmington Ave) displaced 12 residents on Saturday night; firefighters contained the blaze with the building's sprinkler system and reported no injuries.
