- ➤ Chevon Grant, 28, was sentenced to 37 months in federal prison for a gun offense linked to a 2022 gang-related shootout on Main Street in Hartford — nearly 50 shots were fired in 90 seconds — and he will serve three years of supervised release. FOX61
- ➤ Police arrested a juvenile suspect after a 15-year-old boy was shot near Nelson and Martin Streets on Friday afternoon—he was taken to a local hospital in stable condition—and detectives said the shot came from a stolen vehicle. WTNH News 8
- ➤ Five corrections officers in Suffield were hospitalized after an inmate overdosed at MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution around 11 a.m. Friday — the inmate was given Narcan and later arrested for possessing an unauthorized item — while Connecticut State Police continue to investigate.
