- ➤ A 16-year-old local boy was charged with murder, tampering with physical evidence, carrying a dangerous weapon and unlawful discharge of a firearm in connection with a May 20 shooting that killed 24-year-old Jordan Patterson near Irving and Woodland streets; he was extradited from Alabama and appeared in state Superior Court on Thursday. - ➤ Manchester police said a 16-year-old extradited from Alabama was charged with murder in connection to the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Jordan Patterson, who was found shot in his vehicle on May 20 near Irving Street and Woodland Street—he is set to be arraigned Thursday at Hartford Juvenile Detention. - ➤ Gov. Ned Lamont signed a bill expanding the Fallen Officer Fund into the Fallen Heroes Fund so that families of all first responders killed on duty can get help.
