- ➤ Pratt Street Sounds launched its free summer concert series on Friday in Hartford’s Pratt Street Historic District—offering live music every Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. through September. Local residents enjoyed the kickoff and will attend future shows as the event brings music, art, and community energy to the area. FOX61
- ➤ On June 12, West Hartford Fellowship Housing held a grand opening and ribbon cutting at its redevelopment site on Starkel Road in Bishops Corner, adding 65 affordable units and modern community spaces — the event also honored Mayor Shari Cantor with a dedicated community room. - ➤ A driver crashed into a fire truck blocking the I-91 south exit ramp in Hartford on Wednesday at 11:45 p.m. when 22-year-old Davon Williams sped in the exit lane, struck the truck and a Mazda, and was charged with reckless driving + released on a $1,500 bond with a court date set for July 3. - ➤ A man in his fifties was shot around 10:50 p.m. on the 100 block of New Park Avenue in Hartford on Thursday night and is now in stable condition at a local hospital—police said an investigation is underway. WTNH News 8

- ➤ The 2025 CIAC Girls Lacrosse championships will be held Sunday at Fairfield University at Rafferty Stadium where four state finals in Classes LL, L, M, and S will feature teams such as Darien, New Canaan, Simsbury, Cheshire, New Fairfield, Hand, Lauralton Hall, and Sacred Heart Academy competing for titles. - ➤ Top golfers including Rory McIlroy (a Grand Slam champion) and Scottie Scheffler (the defending champion) will compete in the Travelers Championship in Cromwell, and the event is set to feature the strongest field in nearly two decades.
