CRIME NEWS

  • A 19-year-old man was arrested in Hartford after driving 132 mph on I-91 near Cromwell exit 22 Wednesday morning—he told state police he did not stop because he was late for a job interview and was later released on a $2,500 bond with a court appearance scheduled on June 17 in Middletown Superior Court.  NBC Connecticut

  • Denise Castellano, a Wallingford resident with mild Alzheimer’s, is halfway through her IV infusions of the new FDA-approved drug Donanemab at Hartford HealthCare’s Ayer Neuroscience Institute to slow her condition—she has shown slight cognitive improvement and experiences no side effects while continuing daily life with her husband Cliff.  NBC Connecticut
