An unauthorized third party accessed roughly 22,500 Hartford HealthCare accounts on March 4 using compromised employee credentials through Connecticut's Medicaid provider portal (HUSKY) and Social Services and Gainwell secured the portal immediately while notifying those affected by mail and offering complimentary monitoring services.
