- ➤ Police arrested Joshua Smellie (34) from Hartford after shots rang out during a funeral at Gospel Lighthouse Apostolic Church on Main Street last Friday as police arrived around 10:00 a.m. and two victims were treated for minor injuries amid an altercation between families. WTIC
- ➤ A Hartford man, 41-year-old Marcus Richards, was arrested Friday night in Vernon when officers stopped his dark-tinted vehicle missing a license plate - officers found fentanyl, cocaine, cash and a digital scale, and Richards now faces charges for narcotics possession, intent to sell and operating a drug factory. - ➤ On Saturday morning in East Hartford, police said a woman's adult son stabbed her boyfriend—42-year-old Richard Troupe—in self-defense after he repeatedly harassed the family, and he will appear in court Monday morning facing domestic violence and minor injury charges. WFSB-TV
