ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ No injuries were reported in a two-alarm fire at an occupied three-story multi-family home on 41-43 Pliny Street in Clay Arsenal; firefighters arrived four minutes after the 8:11 p.m. Friday call and had the blaze under control by 9:22 p.m.—the incident displaced 20 residents and crews from East Hartford and West Hartford assisted while investigators examine the cause. - ➤ A Hartford man won $4,000,000 playing a CT lottery scratch game after buying his ticket at a Mobil gas station on Weston Street — he said he will use the winnings to pursue higher education while Mobil earns a $40,000 bonus for selling the ticket. WFSB-TV

- ➤ City officials in Hartford have launched a pilot program that will turn vacant lands into affordable homes to boost homeownership among residents.
