- ➤ A man in his 40s was shot multiple times on Sisson Avenue at around 9:30 p.m. Thursday night and is now being treated for non-life threatening injuries — police are investigating the incident. WTNH News 8

- ➤ City leaders plan to ease traffic danger on Hillside Avenue by adding curb bump outs, physical barriers and fresh roadway striping near McDonough and Moyland schools—this move comes after several students were injured by oncoming traffic.
