  • Despite chilly 40-degree weather, thousands of Yard Goats fans filled Dunkin’ Park on opening night as grounds crew prepped the field—inside, mascot Chompers joined a push-up contest with National Guard members while families cheered.   • UConn men's basketball coach Dan Hurley said his team is in Indianapolis to chase rings — not trophies. Fans boarded buses from Bradley International Airport on Friday and the Huskies will face top-seeded South Carolina in the Final Four.  WFSB-TV
