- ➤ The Connecticut Airport Authority announced the Escape Lounge at Bradley has reopened after summer renovations. The upgraded lounge is larger & offers a wider food menu with extended hours from 4:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the east concourse, gates 1-12. NBC Connecticut

- ➤ Gov. Lamont has extended the severe cold weather protocol, which provides warming shelters and transport for those in need, through at least noon on Sunday (Feb. 15). The order has been in effect since Jan. 23 as forecasts predict single-digit wind chills. WFSB-TV
- ➤ CTDOT announced winners of its fourth annual Snowplow Naming Contest, selecting 16 names from four maintenance districts including Plowabunga, Snow Diggity, and The Saltfather. The winning names will be printed on CTDOT snowplows this winter. NBC Connecticut
- ➤ The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection is seeking seasonal hires for work in outdoor recreation, conservation and education from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
