- ➤ Margaret 'Peggy' Healey, 93, was found outside a Windsor Locks nursing home on Sunday and died after wandering in cold weather while police, state health officials and the Long Term Care Ombudsman investigate how she left secure areas and why staff did not immediately call 911. Connecticut Post

- ➤ Teach for America and Hartford Public Schools will host recruitment events at UPR Bayamón on Thursday, Feb. 19 and UPR Mayagüez on Friday, Feb. 20 for recent graduates to become certified teachers in Connecticut. - ➤ The MDC tunnel, a four-mile structure built 200 feet underground in Hartford and West Hartford, is complete but cannot operate until the $114 million pump station on Brainard Road is finished.
