"A Very FARKUS Christmas" A Christmas Story screening & meet & greet

About this event

SPRINGFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS — October 14, 2026 — This holiday season, one of the most recognizable bullies in movie history is coming to Springfield. Hot Mic Events, alongside 94.7 WMAS and the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, will present “A Very Farkus Christmas,” a special screening and celebrity fan experience featuring actor Zack Ward, best known for his unforgettable portrayal of Scut Farkus in the holiday classic A Christmas Story. The event takes place Sunday, November 15, 2026, at the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield. Fans can revisit the beloved film on the big screen, then enjoy a live moderated conversation, audience Q&A, movie trivia, fan games and interaction with Ward, the actor behind the yellow-eyed, red-haired neighborhood bully. “Hot Mic Events loves creating experiences that bring recognizable entertainment personalities directly to fans in an intimate setting,” said Chad Erickson of Hot Mic Events. “This is a chance to celebrate a Christmas classic, hear stories from behind the scenes, ask questions and meet Zack Ward in person. We’re excited to bring this experience to Western Massachusetts with our event and media partners.” EVENT HIGHLIGHTS • Full movie screening: Watch the original A Christmas Story on the big screen. • Live Q&A and trivia: A moderated conversation hosted by Chris Kellogg and Dina McMahon of 94.7 WMAS, with audience questions, stories, games and prizes. • Meet Zack Ward: Meet the actor who brought Scut Farkus to life. • Photo opportunity: Capture a memory with Ward.
