Join us for Intimate Encounters, a student production directed by Thomas Goodin featuring two engaging one-act plays that examine the complexities, volatility, and humor of human relationships. Anton Chekhov’s The Bear follows a grieving widow and a determined creditor whose heated dispute takes an unexpected turn. Christopher Durang’s Wanda’s Visit centers on a married couple whose quiet routine is disrupted by the arrival of an eccentric former girlfriend. Though written more than a century apart, both plays offer sharp wit, memorable characters, and insightful explorations of love, passion, and communication.
