November Meeting: Accessibility in Our Clay Spaces
Sunday, November 15 at 3 PM | Bliss Pottery House, Glastonbury
Join us at Bliss Pottery House for an artist talk and demonstration with Connecticut potter Kristen Dockendorf. As a legally blind potter, Kristen will share her experiences as a ceramic artist and help lead a discussion about accessibility in our studios, classrooms, and community spaces. Together, we’ll explore how we can look at our spaces through a different lens, identify potential barriers, and find ways to make pottery more welcoming and accessible for everyone.
A quick scheduling note: I made a mistake when booking this meeting and scheduled it for the third Sunday of November rather than our usual second Sunday. So, please mark your calendars for November 15 at 3 PM . Thanks for being flexible, and we hope to see you there! - Stephanie
