About this event
Career Ready: The College to Career Playbook with Alex Boylan
What should you be doing right now to land the opportunities you want after graduation? Alex Boylan has an answer, and it starts well before senior year.
Alex won CBS’s The Amazing Race at 23, went on to host for PBS and The Travel Channel, earned an Emmy nomination as a producer, and today is the creator and host of The College Tour on Amazon Prime. Along the way he has interviewed more than 100 college presidents about what makes students successful. He is also the author of The Miles That Make You .
In this session, built for Eastern students, Alex will share his own journey and then get practical: how to use your time at Eastern to build relationships, grow your network and prepare for life after graduation. Expect real steps you can take this semester, not just inspiration. We will leave plenty of time for your questions and conversation.
Thursday, Nov. 5, 2 p.m., Student Center Theater. Open to all Eastern students. No registration needed.
Listed by Eastern Connecticut State University (Localist), gathered by the Hartford events calendar.
