About this event
Celebrating the legacy of Luis A. Ferré, founder of the Museo de Arte de Ponce, “The Sense of Beauty” exhibition features 60 paintings by European, Puerto Rican, and North American artists. This selection not only represents the museum’s collection but also reflects Ferré’s vision, as he expressed it at the cornerstone-laying ceremony for the museum’s building: “Here, culture will be made with universal harmonies, but with Puerto Rican notes…”. Join the exhibition’s curator, Iraida Rodríguez-Negrón, for an introduction to this renowned collection and to the collector who brought it together in Ponce. Lecture takes place in the Theater. Free with museum admission. Registration required.
