About this event

How can art communicate what words sometimes cannot? Join a Curatorial Team member at the Mattatuck Museum, along with Briana Benn Mirandi, art therapist from Art and Soul Art Therapy in Madison, for a conversation exploring mental health, the benefits of art therapy, and our exhibition Franne Davids and the World She Painted. The panel will explore how art allows us to express emotions, experiences, and ideas beyond spoken and written language, while supporting emotional well-being and deepening our understanding of ourselves and one another.

Support provided by Litchfield Distillery and George A. & Grace L. Long Foundation, Bank of America, N.A., Co-Trustee
