About this event
Make The Fantastic Toyshop part of your holiday season!
Taking the stage at Hoffman Auditorium December 4–6 , this full-length production brings nearly all of New England Ballet Theatre together, and an original ballet created for our community. Professional company artists take on principal roles, students from The School of NEBT join the ensemble, and our production team brings the story to life through costumes, props, and staging.
Inspired by the 1919 La Boutique Fantasque , "The Fantastic Toyshop" features music by Ottorino Respighi and transports the story to 1940s Hartford. At approximately 90 minutes including intermission, it’s an inviting holiday outing to share with family, friends, or someone experiencing NEBT for the first time.
